About us
Konoba Bulin opened its doors in 1993. Those were difficult war years, in which we organized numerous tournaments in ballots and cards. So we turned our thoughts away from the sad state of affairs in our beautiful and depraved homeland. That's how the first weddings started, the demand was high, newlyweds were our best advertisement. The number of weddings was getting bigger and bigger, so we were forced to expand our capacity, not forgetting what is most important, which is the smile on the faces of our newlyweds. These same newlyweds brought their children in the ceremonies of baptism, later communion and confirmation.
Our story
We at BULIN Tavern believe that a good feeling starts with good food, therefore our goal is to offer you foods and dishes that will contribute to your good feeling. our neighbor. We cook the way our mothers and grandmothers cooked and baked.
Creative and interesting cuisine
We are especially proud of our homemade bread, which we make from wheat from our own cultivation. Olives and vines from selected varieties, Babić, Plavina, Debit, Maraština, which are of exceptional quality in our Danila field in our family estate from grandfather Bože, have been bringing us top quality wine and olive oil for more than 80 years. Cow's and goat's cheese and milk from our cattle-breeding neighbors, premium prosciutto, pancetta and roast beef are only part of the rich offer of our tavern, seasonal vegetables from our garden, homemade bread, baked goods with meat and fish specialties, lamb and breast meat from the spit, risottos and soups with pomace.
We have been living a long tradition for 30 years. since 1993, we have been building on quality, a top-notch offer, where our guest's smile is our greatest reward.
The place DANILO where we live and work has a rich historical culture older than 3000 years. The RIDER archaeological site is 200m from the Bulin tavern and is an ideal place for visiting historical excavations where very rich families lived.
Rider continues life in late antiquity; it is mentioned by Anonymous from Ravenna, and at the church council in Salona in 533, it became part of the Salonita diocese.
